The Victoria Blues Society is an affiliate of the Blues Foundation, based in Memphis Tennessee, and as such, is dedicated to preserving blues music; celebrating recording and performance excellence; and, supporting blues education. 

VBS Mandate:

"To promote awareness of all aspects of the blues on an international, regional and, most importantly, local level. To enhance, inform, preserve and promote blues by supporting musical events, performers and an appreciation of the music."

 As a VBS member you will receive: a weekly email newsletter telling what's happening in the Victoria blues scene; preferred rates at VBS events; and, a link to a worldwide network of blues societies – an incredible source for the latest in blues news. 

The Victoria Blues Society is a registered society in British Columbia.

The Victoria Blues Society is governed by a Board of Directors.

The VBS Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held once a year.
